Is there anyone who has not experienced failure because of fear? Peter is certainly not the exception. However, the story of Peter beginning to walk on water also emphasizes how powerful we can be when we believe beyond ourselves. A true story is told of a Russian railroad employee who accidentally locked himself inside a refrigerator car. Without success he attempted to attract outside attention. Since he knew of no way that he could extricate himself, he came to accept his fate.
