There is a new candy company named Lighthouse Confections that makes very intricate designs on lollipops using lasers. It all started when a way was invented to etch microscopic grooves on the candy surface so that they reflect light-like prisms. A newspaper article that told about the company had the headline, "Candy Dazzles the Eye." The designs and the dazzling color entice the buyer to give it a try. The temptations Jesus faced in the passage were ones that could dazzle the eye.
