Emphasis Preaching Journal

There is a story about a man who had seven sons who could not get along with one another. He called his sons together and told each one to bring a stick. He tied the sticks together into a bundle and then told his sons that the one who could break the bundle would become his sole heir. Each boy in turn tried and failed to break the bundle. The man then took the bundle and said, "I'll show you how it can easily be broken." He untied the sticks and broke them one by one. This lesson certainly applies to the church. Has God not given us each gifts to be used in his service?
