There's an old story about a group of prisoners who have lived together on the same cell block for many years. One of the ways they passed the time was to tell jokes. The only problem was, they had told their favorite jokes so many times, they all knew them backward and forward. They knew those jokes so well, they'd even numbered them. One prisoner could call out a number -- "57," say, or "35" -- and his cronies would all break up in laughter.
