There's a remarkable item on the shelves of our local supermarket. It's a milk carton --
but, it's not found in the refrigerator case.
The carton contains something called "UHT Milk." The thing that's different about UHT milk is that it doesn't require refrigeration (at least, not until you open the carton). It's not powdered; it's not shot through with nasty chemicals, either. It even tastes pretty much like milk.
