The Toledo (Ohio) Zoo, much of which was built through government work programs during the 1930s, has a major animal building made almost entirely from the rubble of other buildings. In fact, at the entranceway is a list of the demolished buildings from which materials were obtained. The architecture is unique to say the least, but the principle is not: That which is rejected can take on new life in the eyes of the Creator.
