Tom has traveled to 48 states (Alaska and North Dakota still to go!) and he's journeyed to a handful of developing nations. Whether in the U.S. or in another country, he says he's been struck with how easy and prosperous a life he lives. He's not rich, although both he and his wife work full-time and they do okay. But when he compares their standard of living with that of many in the U.S. and most in the developing countries, he realizes that his blessings are many.
