Trevor Ferrell began helping people on the streets of Philadelphia when he was 11 years old. He said, "I saw the homeless on television, and I didn't think it was right for them to be on the street. In Sunday school I was taught to help others so I talked my dad and mom into taking me into the city one night. When I gave a man a blanket and pillow, he said, 'Thank you. God bless you.' That made me feel good and I wanted to help more people."
