Truth is an elusive subject, hard to define without a context. There are many relative truths and probably very few absolute truths. Determining what is the truth about a particular situation usually requires asking questions; however, as fans of mystery novels know, a case is more quickly solved when Detective Smith or Jones asks the right questions. While the asking and answering of questions plays a basic rule in how humans learn and develop, some people use asking questions as a way of avoiding responsibility or manipulating others.
