"Walk before me and be blameless." Ol' Lady Bloom was not what one would call an educated or enlightened woman. She had merely worked hard all her life. She worked hard to support herself and her family. She worked hard for her church, giving well both of her time and her wealth, scanty though that was. She taught Sunday school for many years, teaching less from the curriculum and more out of her own faith. And she called out more respect from many young people than others because she was always honest and straightforward with them.
