The way of wisdom seems out of touch with so many realities of today. Surely it did in biblical times too. We are aware of the need to promote ourselves to succeed. There is a real avalanche of books encouraging dressing, speaking, or acting in the correct ways for success. So in the wisdom tradition, there is an out-of-step, persistent message of another way of life. In the series Kung Fu or in the approach of Star Trek by Spock, we find evidences of this approach to life. They stand out for their uniqueness in the video world.
