We are not Jesus. Thank...
Illustration
We are not Jesus. Thank God. Nor are we called to do his work, but rather to follow in his way. That walk is not always easy for Christians, and the crowds do not yell their encouragement and support. We often have to "walk a chalk line." We know the sayings about one bad apple spoils the bushel and that we are known by the company we keep. The 1890s lyric, "She is more to be pitied than censured, remember a man was the cause of it all," sings of a fall from grace.
