We do not really appreciate...

We do not really appreciate light until we don't have it. We might recall how it was a few years ago before REMO came to certain parts of the country. I remember going up into the country, up gravel roads, to where my grandparents lived. They had an outside toilet and kerosene lamps. If you got up in the middle of the night, you hunted for a flashlight. If you could find one and the batteries weren't dead, then you had light as a companion to the walk "out back."
