Emphasis Preaching Journal

We have all experienced teachers and instructors who could make things "come alive," who could "integrate" all kinds of things and help us "see them whole." Those teachers and instructors were not always people in formal teaching positions. Perhaps it was a parent, an aunt or uncle, a friend, a neighbor. Some people simply are better than others at helping us "see into" problems, "understand" things that had been "hidden" until that person came along, "see how things fit together" after we had been looking at them piecemeal, one piece at a time.
