We often refer to...

We often refer to our inherited qualities as being present in our genes. These same characteristics are also said to be present in our blood. When two members of royalty marry, their royal blood is passed on to their children. This is supposed to make them a higher quality than others who have inherited only common blood.
Some blood we know is diseased and we are afriad of it. We especially fear blood that may have become contaminated with the deadly AIDS virus.
