At the wedding reception the people clamored for a word from the groom, but he always refused. They would not be denied, so finally, and with great hesitation, he stood up behind his bride, placed his trembling hands on her shoulders and said, "I did not want to do this, but since this thing was forced on me, I'll tell you about it." That was as far as he got! And he probably started his marriage off on a rocky beginning. With elections just behind us (and again in front of us), we hear talk of the call of the party. The candidate sought the election only after the call was given.
