When I was in college an evangelist spoke to the student body. A sophomore was so moved by the preacher that he decided he must leave college that very week and immerse himself more directly in the work of spreading the Gospel to those who had not heard it.
By the end of the week, he had been talked out of it. "Don't make any rash decisions," said a teacher. "Think about the time and money you've already invested in your education," said his parents. "You can serve the Lord just as well right here at college," said his roommate. So he decided to stay.
