"When the Jews saw the multitudes, they were filled with jealousy." (v. 45a)
A parable for those in the church casting a jealous eye toward the "multitudes" at the "successful" church down the street:
Two brothers, close to each other from the earliest of their days together, once received an unbelievable wish. "You can wish for anything," the genie said, "but first you must make your wish before sundown and, whichever of you makes the first wish, the other will receive twice as much."
