You have, perhaps, seen before the name JESUS on a piece of paper with the spaces between the letters printed rather than the letters themselves. More likely than not, the first time you saw it, you couldn't see Jesus there. Even if someone told you that what was written on that paper, you couldn't make it out, for all that you could see were strange geometrical shapes that seemed to have no rhyme or reason. And then, all of a sudden, when your eyes focused upon the white instead of the black, the name jumped out at you.
