RAPPER: (ENTERS) Who was that man,
That man who heals?
What does he think he's doing?
Who does he think he is?
A whiz?
Disrupting,
Interrupting the natural order.
The way things are -- the border,
Which you cannot cross.
Destructive, to heal a man who cannot hear and doesn't speak,
Who isn't talkative.
To make him well,
To make him normal.
I cannot tell you,
It was not formal.
Didn't do it at a meeting.
A casual greeting,
And then the man is leading
Others to Him.
Entreating,
Those who are needing
Someone who can be feeding
Them the kingdom news.
He only laid on hands,
And stuck his fingers in the deaf man's ears,
And years
Of isolation and pain
Did not remain.
The reign
Of God is here.
Jesus is walking near.
Do not fear.
It is clear.
He wants to help us.
He cares for all.
He'll tear down the wall
That surrounds us all.
He's found our hurt and healed it.
He revealed it,
Repealed the pain, the isolation.
Jesus our Lord, God of all creation.
He doesn't ration
His love.
He gives it in full measure.
He is our treasure.
Our Lord and master.
And faster
Than a word
He heals those who cannot speak or hear a sound.
He found us when we were lost.
And paid the cost
To free us from sin,
So we can win
Over death and disease.
So, please
Give your heart
To our Savior.
Make a start.
A new way is waiting.
The path you're anticipating
Is free for the taking.
Then with Jesus the bread you'll be breaking.
Where your heart has been aching,
Your spirit will be waking
To new joys.
Making a joyful noise.
And you can say what all the reborns tell,
That he does all things well.
