A Diligent Provider For Family
Better to meet a she-bear robbed of its cubs than to confront a fool immersed in folly (Proverbs 17:12 NRSV).
The bear is mentioned thirteen times in the Old Testament and once in the New. Although it is mainly dependent on plant fruits or berries, it also is carnivorous and will eat lambs or other small animals. When winter approaches and food is not available, a bear depends on hibernation.
