Litanies, Prayers And Dialogues For Lent and Easter
Righteous God, searcher and reader of our hearts, create in us
clean hearts and renew a right spirit within us, that through the
presence and power of your Holy Spirit we each might live in the
example of your Son, our Savior, Jesus Christ, in whose name we
pray. Amen.
Sovereign God, as in the day of creation we stand naked before
your almighty presence. Send out your Spirit upon us this day as
we hear, interpret, and enact your Word. That we might recognize
and avoid the subtle serpent of sin in our lives and so be able
