Assistant: One of the ways in which we understand that we are your people, O God, is to picture ourselves as builders.
People:
We are builders of faith in Jesus Christ our Lord.
Pastor:
Guide us, O God, to have Christ as the one and only foundation of our faith, and to build upon that foundation trust and confidence which will see us through all of the changes and chances of this life.

We are builders of communities of faith, in which ministry is done in your name.
