It's good to be back in your little spiritual ghetto, Mr. Lord's Advocate. It has been a rather busy day for me. I've been visiting a number of churches. Things aren't quite like they used to be. Time was when I could count on most churches to be in my camp. I could usually persuade them to accept some sort of bland, powerless, innocuous liberalism. Or I could get them hung up on a rigid, static fundamentalism. Other churches I could usually mire down in the sludge of national background or the quicksand of an enslaving tradition.
