You probably have heard about me before. I am Hannah, mother of Samuel. (Bows) But you didn't hear me tell you personally about myself. My husband was a kind man to me even though I did not have any children. I was ashamed of this. I wanted to have a child more than anything else. You probably would say that I should have let the wish for a child go since my husband did not hold it against me and because our marriage was firmly intact without a child. But, I did not. I was deeply hurt.
