Now, That's A Miracle!
Reflections On Faith And Life
My call to be a minister I never will forget.
In retrospect I know my faith was not Christ-centered yet.
I spoke not of a "call of Christ" nor thought about it much;
I should have been quite mystified, were it described as such.
A personal relationship with Christ I couldn't claim,
and it was even hard for me to pray in Jesus' name.
It truly was a call of God; there's no doubt in my mind,
but putting it in terms of Christ -- those words I could not find.
I came to know the living Lord on seminary sod,
