It was an unusual experience. It happened some years ago in New York City on an elevator. I was working and living in East Harlem at the time. But I had gone to midtown for a meeting with an attorney friend in his high-rise office building.
So it caught me by surprise, an experience totally unexpected. I stepped on the elevator in slack time in mid-afternoon. The doors closed on me and the one other person in the elevator -- an attractive woman. As we ascended, it happened. The scent of the beautiful woman's perfume wafted over to my side of the elevator.
