He was vile. He was vicious. His deeds were callous and nefarious. He was a ruthless man. He was a heartless man. His heavy hand oppressed mightily the children of Israel, so much so that they cried unto the Lord for deliverance. And Sisera took his place in history, not with the healers, but with the killers. It happened to this captain in Jabin's army. What was the cause of this man's madness? Well, to put it plainly and state it simply, Sisera was victimized by evil. Yes, evil, the terrible reality which haunts our humanity and even seeks to deface our divinity.
