Second Sunday Of Advent
Prayer
Daniel J. Weitner
And Other Reflections On Christmas
Meditation
Justice, peace and hope are driven
From the earth by base design.
Judge of all the meek and faithful:
To us bring some sacred sign.
Prayer
O God, at this season of the advent of your only begotten Son, may our morning prayers cease to be our boring prayers.
Let our spirits be as alive, alert, awake, and attuned to the harmonies of heaven as we rise to greet you at the beginning of the new day, as our ears thrill to the music of earth which sets the blood coursing through our bodies.
