To bring good tidings to the afflicted:
My friend works with AIDS patients. He proclaims God's love to them and their families. He helps them say goodbye and he shares God's promise of release from pain and suffering.
To bind the brokenhearted:
I saw a youngster, about eleven years old, walking down the street. As he walked he banged a stick on everything he passed, trees, porches, steps, sidewalk, all received an anger-filled blow from that stick. Heartbroken at such a young age.
To proclaim liberty:
