Don't fall in love with money, the writer of Hebrews cautions. Louis B. Mayer, who helped create Metro-Goldwyn-Mayer (MGM) film studios, appears not to have read that verse (or else not to have been impressed by it). A colleague tried to persuade him to give money to a charity. He tried the argument, "You can't take it with you when you go." Roared the film magnate, "If I can't take it with me, I won't go!"
