"Oh, that had to hurt!" one brother said, looking down at the other sprawled on the backyard grass. Moments earlier the "quarterback" brother had thrown a pass to the "wide receiver" brother who had dived to make a spectacular catch, misjudging the location of a smallish tree, bruising a shoulder, elbow, and knee before crashing onto the turf, moaning.
